A Note About Cleaning:

Learning how to clean up is an integral part of the ceramics process. As a community-centered studio, we feel that everyone, regardless of age or experience, must appropriately clean up after themselves when participating in our classes, workshops, events, private lessons, and open studio. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Details

  • Private lessons are offered during open studio hours. Other students or members may be present during instruction.

  • Private lessons are intended for building/refining current pottery skills and are focused on instruction and technique, not producing finished pieces. Work produced in the course of private lessons will not be fired, unless the student completes the work via existing membership and/or currently enrolled class.

  • If a beginner with no prior experience wishes to receive private instruction, we require a minimum of three separate sessions (at least one week apart) to ensure all steps of the process are covered.

  • Private lessons are only offered as one-on-ones; no group private lessons (see our Private Events page if you would like to schedule a private group event).

  • Must schedule private lessons in 1-hour increments at $100/hour.

  • Clay is not provided for private lessons, but is available for purchase in full, half, and quarter bag quantities. All studio tools and equipment are available for use during private lessons.

  • Private lessons are available to adults and children.
