Ready to go out on your own? As a studio member, you will have access to studio equipment, glazes, and firing in our dedicated member studio!

Use of 2,000 foot studio space between the hours of 4am and 3am!
Access to studio equipment including 10 wheels (1 standing wheel!) with 100lb centering capacity, slab roller, extruder, and hand building tables
Studio glazes and firing included for work created on-site

Membership Requirements
Primary member must be 18 years or older to join
To be eligible for family membership discounts, family members must reside with the primary member
Teens (age 16-17) may hold a primary membership WITH parent/guardian co-sign approval
All members must have prior clay experience and be able to use the facility and equipment unsupervised and appropriately
Must have a current and basic knowledge of midrange ceramic principles, including joining, finishing, throwing (not required if only hand building in the studio), and glazing
Use clay (cone 4-6) purchased from or approved by Northwest Pottery Collective
Outside glazes must meet Northwest Pottery Collective’s Glaze Guidelines
Attend a membership orientation prior to becoming a member
Membership dues will be charged monthly until term expiration or cancellation
One-time $50 start-up fee to join
Work may not be left in the studio for longer than 30 days at any stage of the process (greenware, bisque, glazed)
Work produced outside of Northwest Pottery Collective may not be fired or glazed at Northwest Pottery Collective
Membership Tiers and Pricing
We offer a variety of options for membership with varying levels of access and commitment. We’re always happy to answer questions if you would like to find out more before joining!
Adult Membership (Ages 18+)
Adult Family Member Add-On Membership (Ages 18+)
10% Discount
Add an adult family member to an adult membership (must reside with primary member). Membership dues below are in addition to primary member dues.
Family Member Add-On Membership (Ages 13-17)
15% Discount
Add a 13-17 year old family member to an adult membership (must reside with primary member). Add-on 13-17 year old members may use the studio at any time between 6am and midnight, but require primary member supervision at all times while in the studio. Membership dues below are in addition to primary member dues.
Standalone Teen Membership (Ages 16-17)
15% Discount
Teens age 16-17 may have their own membership with guardian co-sign approval.* Standalone 16-17 year old members may only use the studio during open studio hours while NPC staff is present, but they do not require parental supervision while using the studio.
*Guardians will be required to sign their own contract and agree to all Terms & Conditions prior to teen beginner their membership. Guardians assume all responsibility for their child’s membership, including payments.
Membership Cancellation Policy
In the event that you need to cancel your multi-month membership before it expires, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one month of your membership dues. You will not be charged for the remainder of your contract.
If you wish to switch to a different membership tier or contract length without a gap in membership, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
