Ready to go out on your own? As a studio member, you will have access to studio equipment, glazes, and firing in our dedicated member studio!

Requirements
Primary member must be 18 years or older to join
To be eligible for family membership discounts, family members must reside with the primary member
Teens (age 16-17) may become members WITH parental approval
Have prior clay experience and be able to use the facility unsupervised and appropriately
Must have a current and basic knowledge of midrange ceramic principles, including joining, finishing, throwing (not required if only hand building in the studio), and glazing
Use clay purchased from or approved by Northwest Pottery Collective
Outside glazes must meet Northwest Pottery Collective’s Glaze Guidelines
Attend new member orientation prior to becoming a member
Membership dues will be charged monthly until cancelled
One-time $50 start-up fee to join
Work may not be left in the studio for longer than 30 days at any stage of the process (greenware, bisque, glazed)
Work produced outside of Northwest Pottery Collective may not be fired or glazed at Northwest Pottery Collective

Membership Tiers and Pricing
Adult Membership (Ages 18+)
Family Member Add-On Membership (Ages 18+)
10% Discount
Add an adult family member to an adult membership (must reside with primary member). Membership dues below are in addition to primary member dues.
Family Member Add-On Membership (Ages 13-17)
15% Discount
Add a 13-17 year old family member to an adult membership (must reside with primary member). Add-on 13-17 year old members may use the studio at any time between 6am and midnight, but require primary member supervision at all times. Membership dues below are in addition to primary member dues.
Standalone Teen Membership (Ages 16-17)
15% Discount
Teens age 16-17 may have their own membership with parental co-sign approval. Standalone 16-17 year old members may only use the studio during open studio hours while NPC staff is present, but they do not require parental supervision while using the studio.
Membership Cancellation Policy
In the event that you need to cancel your multi-month membership before it expires, we charge a cancellation fee equal to the difference between your hourly tier and the month-to-month rate for that same tier for the number of months completed of your contract. You will not owe anything for the remainder of your contract.
